The MeltLogic Smart Controller more efficiently protects your home from ice dams than any other system on the market. Retrofit an existing heat cable system (<1800w) or purchase along with new cables and start saving.

When paired with the Annual or Lifetime Plans your system will:

• Allow you to remotely manage up to 5 properties (e.g. home, cabin, rental) with 10 devices at each property, all in one convenient app.
• Automate efficient heat cable control using weather forecasts (precipitation type and amount, temperature, and solar irradiance), roof exposure, and more to help save you money.
• Provide control over Duty Cycles that run periodically to keep your roof protected by ice dams. You choose the frequency and time Duty Cycles run, allowing you to take advantage of lower utility rates during off-peak hours or manage your off-grid home's energy consumption.
• See your estimated savings and carbon avoidance.
• Monitor and control your system remotely.
• Use AI to help optimize your run time and usage.
• Control up to 200ft continuous cable runs (assuming <8w/ft energy usage)

Without the Annual or Lifetime Plans, your device will still have access to the MeltLogic App for manual on/off controls, automated duty-cycles, and run-time scheduling. This is still more efficient than traditional systems but misses many of the money saving features available only with the Annual or Lifetime Plan.

The MeltLogic Smart Controller is WiFi (2.4ghz) compatible and works on a typical 120v GFCI outlet. 

The controller can retrofit existing heat cable systems up to 1800w. Typical traditional systems use roughly 8w/ft of cable. That means the controller is likely compatible with systems up to 200ft continuous cable runs using <8w/ft. Please confirm your system's energy usage before purchase as improper installation can be dangerous.

You will need 1 MeltLogic Smart Controller for each heat cable you use. Cables for sale by MeltLogic vary in length from 12ft - 160ft. Use the Cable Length Calculator for estimating your cable needs.

Controllers are made of durable materials rated for outdoor use and have waterproof rating of IP68.

Mounting hardware is included with every purchase.
